It achieved a price of EUR 6,048.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21 %. Admittedly, works by Franz Erhard Walther have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wandformation (No.73) (2-teilig) in September 2015 with an auction result of EUR 41,650.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit (i) Material der Form gegenüber(ii) Stützen seitlich, Stützen innen(iii) Volumen Wege Umfang Feld von Franz Erhard Walther wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.048,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Erhard Walther auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wandformation (No.73) (2-teilig) im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.650,00.
