Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2018 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Mental Map: Two Private Sections) by Franz Ackermann. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Ackermann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work b2 barbeque with the duke in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 299,200.00 (€ 440,056.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Mental Map: Two Private Sections) von Franz Ackermann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Ackermann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit b2 barbeque with the duke im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 299.200,00 (€ 440.056,08).
