Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans Swagers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Barges On The River, Holland, which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,357.13).
