Here, the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,200.00. Other works by Frans Swagers have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,357.13) in December 2006 for the work Barges On The River, Holland.
