This artwork by Frans Slager achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2007. In the Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! auction, the work A fishing boy sold for EUR 1,320.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Admittedly, works by Frans Slager have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of den Bosch with the St. Jan Cathedral in January 2006 with an auction result of EUR 9,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Frans Slager erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! wurde die Arbeit A fishing boy für EUR 1.320,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans Slager auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A view of den Bosch with the St. Jan Cathedral im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.000,00.
