Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work A Cowherd In A Wooded Landscape by Frans Slager for EUR 625.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frans Slager achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of den Bosch with the St. Jan Cathedral in January 2006 with an auction result of EUR 9,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Cowherd In A Wooded Landscape von Frans Slager für EUR 625,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frans Slager erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of den Bosch with the St. Jan Cathedral im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.000,00.
