Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brune dans l'allée d'un château - 1945 by Frans Masereel was auctioned at Artcurial in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 2,624.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frans Masereel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Ouvrières (Die Arbeiterinnen) in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 48,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Brune dans l'allée d'un château - 1945 von Frans Masereel kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.624,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frans Masereel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Ouvrières (Die Arbeiterinnen) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 48.800,00.
