This artwork by Frans Jansz. Post achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2014. In the Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale auction, the work Landscape In Brazil sold for GBP 962,500.00 (€ 1,214,015.12) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Frans Jansz. Post; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Sugar Mill sold at auction in June 2009 with the realized price of USD 1,706,500.00 (€ 1,217,189.73).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Frans Jansz. Post erzielte im Juli 2014 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
