Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Frans Jansz. Post could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Weldon Collection auction, the work Brazilian Landscape With Laborers, An Armadillo And A Tamandua changed hands for USD 1,330,000.00 (€ 1,191,542.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. Other works by Frans Jansz. Post have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2009 by the work The Sugar Mill at USD 1,706,500.00 (€ 1,217,189.73).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Frans Jansz. Post konnte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
