Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2005 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Welsh pony by Frank Wootton. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 504.00 (€ 744.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Wootton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moving Off in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,753.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Welsh pony von Frank Wootton zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 504,00 (€ 744,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Wootton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moving Off im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.753,84).
