Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Waterfowl Prints by Frank Weston Benson was sold in the WeeklyHome | Bonhams Skinner auction at Bonhams in New York in October this year. The price achieved of USD 435.20 (€ 411.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Weston Benson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Reader in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,887,500.00 (€ 2,729,722.06).
