A top price for Frank Swift Chase - as previously expected
In April last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Spring Blossom by Frank Swift Chase. The price achieved of USD 22,950.00 (€ 21,780.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Spring Blossom is the most expensive artwork by Frank Swift Chase that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring Blossom von Frank Swift Chase zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.950,00 (€ 21.780,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Spring Blossom das teuerste Kunstwerk von Frank Swift Chase, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
