In October 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Bosham, Sussex by Frank Spenlove Spenlove. The price achieved of GBP 587.50 (€ 929.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bosham, Sussex is the most expensive artwork by Frank Spenlove Spenlove that we have observed at auctions so far.
