A top price for Frank Paul Sauerwein - as previously expected
The work Pottery Vendor by Frank Paul Sauerwein was auctioned at Christies in Los Angeles in May 2001. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,637.50 (€ 9,033.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Pottery Vendor is the most expensive artwork by Frank Paul Sauerwein that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Pottery Vendor von Frank Paul Sauerwein kam im Mai 2001 bei Christies in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.637,50 (€ 9.033,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Pottery Vendor das teuerste Kunstwerk von Frank Paul Sauerwein, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
