The work Untitled Landscape by Frank Hodgkinson was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in May 2004. It achieved a price of AUD 1,912.00 (€ 1,117.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Hodgkinson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kakadu, Last of the Wet, which sold at auction in August 2003 for AUD 7,050.00 (€ 4,164.80).

Die Arbeit Untitled Landscape von Frank Hodgkinson kam im Mai 2004 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 1.912,00 (€ 1.117,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Hodgkinson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kakadu, Last of the Wet beobachtet, die im August 2003 für AUD 7.050,00 (€ 4.164,80) versteigert wurde.
