Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work View Of The Notre Dame, Paris by Frank Edwin Scott for EUR 1,680.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Edwin Scott - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Place de la Concorde, which sold at auction in June 2020 for AUD 5,490.00 (€ 4,888.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View Of The Notre Dame, Paris von Frank Edwin Scott für EUR 1.680,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Edwin Scott mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Place de la Concorde beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für AUD 5.490,00 (€ 4.888,26) versteigert wurde.
