In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work "'Seek Signs!' Commanded the Wolf" by Frank Earle Schoonover. The »bidding war« ended at USD 43,750.00 (€ 36,770.89), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Earle Schoonover achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work As the Canoe Swept By in May last year with an auction result of USD 441,000.00 (€ 410,958.90).

Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit "'Seek Signs!' Commanded the Wolf" von Frank Earle Schoonover zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 36.770,89) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Earle Schoonover erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit As the Canoe Swept By im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 441.000,00 (€ 410.958,90).
