Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "He Turned on Them and Told Them to Sit" by Frank Earle Schoonover was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,962.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Earle Schoonover achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work As the Canoe Swept By in May last year with an auction result of USD 441,000.00 (€ 410,958.90).

Die Arbeit "He Turned on Them and Told Them to Sit" von Frank Earle Schoonover kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.962,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
