Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study For Leisure Ii by Frank Dobson was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,273.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Dobson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Female Torso in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 2,041,750.00 (€ 2,398,530.29).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.273,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00.
