Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction, which included the work Trail Herd, Cowboy and Cattle by Frank B. Hoffman. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 15,075.00 (€ 12,943.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Frank B. Hoffman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2015 the work Cattle Drive West was auctioned for USD 25,000.00 (€ 23,275.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trail Herd, Cowboy and Cattle von Frank B. Hoffman zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 15.075,00 (€ 12.943,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Frank B. Hoffman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2015 die Arbeit Cattle Drive West für USD 25.000,00 (€ 23.275,30) versteigert.
