Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Afraid of Eagle - Sioux -", 1898. by Frank A. Rinehart was auctioned at Koller in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 813.00 (€ 701.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank A. Rinehart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Native American portraits in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 7,767.50 (€ 8,628.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Afraid of Eagle - Sioux -", 1898. von Frank A. Rinehart kam im Juni 2018 bei Koller zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 813,00 (€ 701,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank A. Rinehart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Native American portraits im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.767,50 (€ 8.628,64).
