In December 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess, which included the work Untitled (Totem) by François Stahly. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,312.50 (€ 35,618.04), 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by François Stahly; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Colonne croissance sold at auction in July 2010 with the realized price of EUR 43,000.00.

Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Totem) von François Stahly zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.312,50 (€ 35.618,04) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von François Stahly; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Colonne croissance im Juli 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 43.000,00.
