Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by François-Joseph Heim could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Master Paintings and Drawings auction, the work Profile portrait of a woman changed hands for USD 378.00 (€ 321.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-Joseph Heim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait D'Adélaïde D'Orléans (1777-1847); Et Portrait de Ferdinand, Duc D'Orléans (1810-1842) in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 10,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
