Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century Paintings, which included the work Belgian A View Of Brighton by François Etienne Musin. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Etienne Musin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Belgian hms Resolute In Search Of Sir John Franklin in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 111,408.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Belgian A View Of Brighton von François Etienne Musin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Etienne Musin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Belgian hms Resolute In Search Of Sir John Franklin im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 111.408,87).
