Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Up a Tree by François Brunery for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,430.92). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Brunery achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le pont d'amour in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 256,750.00 (€ 414,291.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Up a Tree von François Brunery für USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.430,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Brunery erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le pont d'amour im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 256.750,00 (€ 414.291,85).
