Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Incontro nel celeste by Franco Assetto for USD 562.50 (€ 399.47). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Franco Assetto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Structures D'Aggression Iv in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 2,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Incontro nel celeste von Franco Assetto für USD 562,50 (€ 399,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franco Assetto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Structures D'Aggression Iv im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.750,00.
