Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mujer envuelta by Francisco Zúñiga was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of USD 22,950.00 (€ 21,541.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Zúñiga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 3,127,500.00 (€ 2,783,463.87).

Die Arbeit Mujer envuelta von Francisco Zúñiga kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.950,00 (€ 21.541,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Zúñiga erzielen.
