Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Francisco Mejía-Guinand. It changed hands for a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,829.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Francisco Mejía-Guinand have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work without title was auctioned for USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,211.67).

Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Francisco Mejía-Guinand zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.829,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Francisco Mejía-Guinand konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2013 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.211,67) versteigert.
