Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spiral Lights: A Diptych by Francisco Infante was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,112.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francisco Infante - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Design For A Spiral 2, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 72,500.00 (€ 91,077.98).

Die Arbeit Spiral Lights: A Diptych von Francisco Infante wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.112,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Francisco Infante mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Design For A Spiral 2 beobachtet, die im März 2008 für GBP 72.500,00 (€ 91.077,98) versteigert wurde.
