Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Artefacts And One Collage From The Series Souvenirs by Francisco Infante was sold in the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,477.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Infante achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Design For A Spiral 2 in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 91,077.98).

Die Arbeit Four Artefacts And One Collage From The Series Souvenirs von Francisco Infante wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.477,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Infante erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Design For A Spiral 2 im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 91.077,98).
