Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Diablo 26 1/4 x 20 1/4 in. framed 37 x 31 in. by Francis Henry Beaugureau was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. It achieved a price of USD 2,816.00 (€ 2,581.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francis Henry Beaugureau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Indians Galloping, which sold at auction in August 2019 for USD 6,950.00 (€ 6,324.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Diablo 26 1/4 x 20 1/4 in. framed 37 x 31 in. von Francis Henry Beaugureau kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.816,00 (€ 2.581,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Francis Henry Beaugureau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Indians Galloping beobachtet, die im August 2019 für USD 6.950,00 (€ 6.324,51) versteigert wurde.
