In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper, including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection, which included the work An Italian Palace, possibly The Reggia of Portici, Naples by Francesco Zerilli. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,815.06), 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Zerilli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bick von der Villa Belmonte auf Palermo in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 32,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper, including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Italian Palace, possibly The Reggia of Portici, Naples von Francesco Zerilli zur Versteigerung kam.
