It achieved a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,765.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Zerilli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bick von der Villa Belmonte auf Palermo, which sold at auction in May 2013 for EUR 32,250.00.

Die Arbeit A Pair Of Views Of Palermo von Francesco Zerilli wurde im Juli 2009 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.765,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Zerilli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bick von der Villa Belmonte auf Palermo beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für EUR 32.250,00 versteigert wurde.
