Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in Rome held the auction 19th Century Pictures, which included the work Venezia, Interno di San Marco by Francesco Zanin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,500.00 – 4,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,720.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Zanin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, View Of The Palazzo Ducale; Venice, View Of The Scuola Grande Di San Marco in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 287,500.00 (€ 259,172.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion 19th Century Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venezia, Interno di San Marco von Francesco Zanin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.720,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Zanin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice, View Of The Palazzo Ducale; Venice, View Of The Scuola Grande Di San Marco im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 287.500,00 (€ 259.172,45).
