Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2000 Christies in London held the auction 19C European Art, which included the work The secret admirer by Francesco Vinea. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 14,080.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Francesco Vinea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italianitalian Dance Party in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 72,182.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19C European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The secret admirer von Francesco Vinea zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.225,00 (€ 14.080,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Vinea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italianitalian Dance Party im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 72.182,01).
