Die Arbeit Serenade In The Tavern von Francesco Vinea wurde im Januar 2011 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.582,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Vinea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italianitalian Dance Party im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 72.182,01).
