Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The proposition by Francesco Vinea was sold in the 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in December 2005. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,360.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Vinea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italianitalian Dance Party in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 72,182.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The proposition von Francesco Vinea wurde im Dezember 2005 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.360,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Vinea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italianitalian Dance Party im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 72.182,01).
