The work Serenading the barmaid in the tavern by Francesco Vinea was sold in the Impressionist and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in London in April 2000. It achieved a price of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 11,063.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 62%. Admittedly, works by Francesco Vinea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italianitalian Dance Party in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 72,182.01).

Die Arbeit Serenading the barmaid in the tavern von Francesco Vinea wurde im April 2000 in der Auktion Impressionist and 19th Century Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.462,50 (€ 11.063,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Vinea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italianitalian Dance Party im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 72.182,01).
