Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Crucifixion by Francesco Vanni was sold in the Collections auction at Christies in Paris in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,788.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Francesco Vanni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Vierge, Protectrice De Sienne, Avec Saint Bernardin Et Sainte Catherine, Les Saints Patrons De La Ville, Entourés D'Anges in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 41,432.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Crucifixion von Francesco Vanni wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Collections bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.788,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Vanni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Vierge, Protectrice De Sienne, Avec Saint Bernardin Et Sainte Catherine, Les Saints Patrons De La Ville, Entourés D'Anges im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.432,00.
