Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,910.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Vanni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Vierge, Protectrice De Sienne, Avec Saint Bernardin Et Sainte Catherine, Les Saints Patrons De La Ville, Entourés D'Anges in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 41,432.00.
