Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Bucintoro At The Molo, Venice, On Ascension Day by Francesco Tironi was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Christies in London in December 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 45,056.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Tironi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Canal with the Rialto Bridge from the South; Saint Mark's Square with the Basilica and the Campanile in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 525,000.00 (€ 615,671.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Bucintoro At The Molo, Venice, On Ascension Day von Francesco Tironi wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 45.056,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Tironi erzielen.
