Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work Travelers approaching a coastal town by Francesco Simonini. The price achieved of GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,470.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Simonini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An extensive mountainous landscape with a battle scene in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 116,671.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Travelers approaching a coastal town von Francesco Simonini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.470,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Simonini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An extensive mountainous landscape with a battle scene im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 116.671,58).
