Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Ritratto di Luigi Croff by Francesco Podesti. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Podesti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ritratto di gentildonna in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 46,160.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ritratto di Luigi Croff von Francesco Podesti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Podesti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ritratto di gentildonna im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 46.160,00.
