The work The Return of the Bucintoro from S. Nicolò di Lido by Francesco Guardi was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2021. It achieved a price of USD 1,230,000.00 (€ 1,013,597.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Guardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, A View Of The Rialto Bridge, Looking North, From The Fondamenta Del Carbon in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 26,697,250.00 (€ 30,639,088.35).

Die Arbeit The Return of the Bucintoro from S. Nicolò di Lido von Francesco Guardi wurde im Januar 2021 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.230.000,00 (€ 1.013.597,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Guardi erzielen.
