Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Francesco Guardi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in January 2021. In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work Architectural capriccio sold for USD 22,680.00 (€ 18,689.74) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Guardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, A View Of The Rialto Bridge, Looking North, From The Fondamenta Del Carbon in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 26,697,250.00 (€ 30,639,088.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Guardi erzielte im Januar 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Drawings wurde die Arbeit Architectural capriccio für USD 22.680,00 (€ 18.689,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Guardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice, A View Of The Rialto Bridge, Looking North, From The Fondamenta Del Carbon im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.697.250,00 (€ 30.639.088,35).
