Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Danza Degli Apaches (Caffeconcerto), Circa 1916 by Francesco Cangiullo was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,428.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Cangiullo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lettera D'Amore, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,144.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Danza Degli Apaches (Caffeconcerto), Circa 1916 von Francesco Cangiullo kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.428,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Cangiullo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lettera D'Amore beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.144,22) versteigert wurde.
