Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Italian the Betrothal by Francesco Beda. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 40,625.00 (€ 36,951.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Francesco Beda have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2006 the work The diplomatic game was auctioned for EUR 54,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian the Betrothal von Francesco Beda zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 40.625,00 (€ 36.951,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Francesco Beda konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2006 die Arbeit The diplomatic game für EUR 54.000,00 versteigert.
