The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,843.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Beda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The diplomatic game in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 54,000.00.
