The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 108,000.00 (€ 83,089.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Albani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Holy Family In A Landscape, which sold at auction in December 2016 for GBP 236,750.00 (€ 276,799.16).
