Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work Ecce Homo by Francesco Albani. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,857.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Albani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Holy Family In A Landscape in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 276,799.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ecce Homo von Francesco Albani zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.857,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Albani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Holy Family In A Landscape im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 276.799,16).
